President and Co-Founder Ryan M. Phillips holds a bachelor's in English and a master's in English and Literature. She has more than twenty years of experience in the publishing industry as an author, ghostwriter, and editor. Phillips has penned and sold four traditionally published novels. In 2013, she novelized the script for I'm In Love With A Church Girl, a major motion picture featuring Ja Rule and Adrienne Bailon. Since then, she has strategically and successfully partnered with independent and represented authors, literary agencies, and publishing houses across the country, providing professional writing services for a broad range of projects.

Phillips also has a decade of graphic and web design experience. From business starter kits to print collateral materials to newsletter layouts to digital campaigns to social media graphics, she has a wealth of experience crafting custom, eye-catching visuals centered on effective brand alignment and tried-and-true marketing strategies. She takes great pride in her work and makes a point of listening to her clients, taking the time to understand their needs, and collaborating with them to ensure those needs are not only met but exceeded. Integrity, consistency, and reliability are the guarantees she brings to each and every project and the principles upon which her company is built.

In addition to overseeing Freedom Line's day-to-day operations, Phillips is a course director and instructor at Full Sail University, where she teaches web design and writing courses in the Creative Writing BFA program.
